PERP Preferences
From PERPWiki
This section allows the user to set the format for the various currencies used in pERP reports (as set in the Administration section) and to set the format (pdf, MS Word, etc.) in which reports are generated.
Currency Formats
All currencies set in the Administration section will appear here so that users can set their own desired format.
It is recommended that ISO 4217 international three-letter codes be used for currencies (this has not been done in this image taken from the pERP Demo site).
Each currency can be set in any of several different reports. This setting is for the individual user and will be reflected in all pages and reports throughout pERP.
"Use Default" means to use the currency settings applied by a manager or administrator for this particular user.
[CUR] in the list above will refer to the ISO code or to whatever has been entered for the currency abbreviation. "[CUR] 1200,03" would be given as USD 1200,03, for example, or MX. 1200,03 using an example from the Demo image.
Report Formats
Reports can presently be generated in Open Office Document format (.odt), Adobe Reader Portable Document Format (.pdf), or Microsoft Word (.doc format.
All reports in pERP will be emailed in the format set here in Perp Preferences. You will then have to locate the report in your Inbox and open the report to view or print it.
